I am a dedicated student who is interested in AI/ML and Web Development. I value integrity, kindness, curiosity, hard work, and excellence. I approach every task with diligence and cooperation. I am a proficient developer, having mastered the fundamentals of data structures and algorithms.
Some of my favorite things I am doing/have done in my learning journey are the chess engine I am currently developing, a spam filter, an interactive raytracing program, and "High Roller Heaven". You can read more about these on my projects page. This year, I am excited to learn a lot more about subjects like machine learning and artificial intelligence. Also, I am currently a part of a project overseen by professors Jim Leonard and Veena Chidurala in collaboration with 80 Acres Farms. With three electrical engineering students, I am going to be programming drones equipped with cameras that communicate via Raspberry Pis with a central Pi that processes the images taken by stationary cameras, discerns the drones' locations from them, and sends drones instructions to adjust their location and/or fly along a given path.
I am also deeply involved in the community here. One thing that I have done in the past year that I am really proud of is leading our Association for Computing Machinery Chapter. When I became president, we had zero funding and just 3 people coming to the meetings: the officers. By the end of the year, I (with help from our officers) was able to get a strong community of about 10 members coming per meeting, develop relationships with potential employers, and secure up to $6000 in funding. I am also the vice president of our Tau Beta Pi chapter here on campus. I look forward to working hard and making that club great too. Side note: if you are a prospective employer who would be interested in starting a relationship with one of these organizations, please let me know through the contact page!
